All right!! Planning is off and running- this weekend Mom, Lissa and I scoped out the reception center at the hotel and loved it. They're letting us use the courtyard area for our rehearsal dinner and the breakfast/gift opening on Sunday which is rockin' my world- that way basically the whole wedding takes place at the hotel- which is so convienent for everyone!! We booked our photographer, which is about 1200 cheaper than I had budgeted- (God bless new photographers who have a kickass portfolio but not many people willing to go with a "no name".) She's amazing- we all loved her pictures and she only charges 650 for the whole day- no matter how long she's there. Which is awesome, and her pictures are really reasonable. So YAY!
At this point, Kent and Lissa's baby is still in the breech position, which means he/she may get delivered by c-section....so we're all crossing our fingers baby decides to move! But Lissa is doing really well and looks absolutely amazing. :) I'm going to be an aunt in less than 2 months- WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love living in Rapid! It was in the seventies today- I got off at 2, sat outside with the dogs and suntanned while drinking a beer. Then when Brent got off work, we went over to some friends to play basketball, grill and drink some more beer. It was awesome. I love getting to sit out on the deck overlooking the city and its NICE outside! you don't have to be huddled in a sweater, parka, hat, mucklucks, etc in order to be out there!!
In other exciting news........I get to finalize my wedding date in 2 days!!!!!!! WAHOO!

Only 5 more days and I get to reserve my reception site! YAY!! And I found my dress- which has been the main thing worrying me, I am so fussy about everything down to my socks! I was half terrified I'd never find a dress! But....after all the shopping in Dallas and Chicago- I find my dress by myself wandering aimlessly around downtown Rapid City. Go figure. Got my butt chewed by both my mother and my sister for shopping alone- especially when i found it but it actually made things easier and it was kinda fun
So....as soon as I get my date nailed down I can actually really start to plan- wahoo!!

Boo and hiss...I'm on call this weekend, I can't try to reserve my reception site until March 15th, which means I'm just on hold until then which is making me crazy! I'm moving out of my apartment this month, going on vacation to Texas for a week, come back to move, trying to buy a new car, trying to help organize a baby shower for a co-worker and my sister, attempting to plan a wedding, trying to help Brent get a new truck, going to Chicago for a week for work the end of February, wanted to get to Aberdeen but stupid Chicago trip ruined all that fun- anyone want to add anything else????!!! AHHHHHHHH! If I don't keel over from stress I may become an alcoholic! J/K I'm just chugging Dt Pepsi like no other and trying to get it all done. I HATE STRESS!
And Jenny had to check out, she'll be back soon!!

So now to begin the wedding plans. Wow...I felt like I had a lot done before we got engaged, and now I'm realizing its a drop in the bucket and everything relies on if the reception hall can be booked for that date, and the photographer and the DJ, etc etc AHHH!
Really doesn't help when your sister is prego and full of hormones and not at all interested in what's happening!
